We send orders with Royal Mail, within the UK, or you can collect your order from our County Durham workshop by appointment. This policy explains the delivery and collection options, when your order will be dispatched, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Delivery and collection options

Royal Mail delivery times are targets, not guarantees.

1. When we dispatch

Plate orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days of us verifying your identity and entitlement documents. We cannot start making your plates until your documents are verified, so please send them as soon as you order. Our upload page is the quickest way. Accessory-only orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 working days of your order.

We dispatch Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Orders received outside these hours, on Sundays or on UK bank holidays are processed on the next working day. Dispatch can take longer at busy times such as Black Friday and Christmas. We will post any expected delays on our website.

2. Tracking

For tracked services, we email you a tracking number when your order is dispatched. You can follow your parcel on the Royal Mail tracking page. You can also see your order status in your customer account.

3. Collecting from our workshop

You can collect your order from our workshop in County Durham instead of having it posted. Collection is free and by appointment only.

• Choose Pick up at checkout.
• Send your documents as usual. We verify them, then make your plates.
• When your order is ready, we email you a link to book a collection time. Please don't visit without a booking, and bring your order number.
• If you'd like us to fit your plates while you're here, choose fitting when you book. It's £9.99 per plate, fixings included, and you pay on the day by cash or card.

4. Your delivery address

Please check that your delivery address is complete and correct before you order. If a parcel comes back to us because the address you gave was wrong or incomplete, or because nobody collected it from Royal Mail, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. We will charge the Royal Mail postage cost for sending it again.

5. If your parcel is late, lost or marked as delivered but hasn't arrived

Your order is our responsibility until it reaches you or someone you nominated. If it hasn't arrived when expected, or tracking says it was delivered but you don't have it, contact us at support@paramountplates.co.uk as soon as you can. We will investigate with Royal Mail, using its tracking, GPS and photo records. If your parcel did not reach you or someone you nominated, we will send a replacement or refund you in full.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we must deliver within 30 days unless we agree another date with you. For plate orders, the 30 days start when we have verified your documents. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains your options if we are late.

6. Orders sent in more than one parcel

Orders with several items, such as plates and accessories, may arrive in separate parcels. You will receive tracking details for each tracked parcel.

7. Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 about delivery and non-delivery.

8. Which law applies

This policy is governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
