Double-sided sticky pads for number plate fitting
This pack contains ten heavy-duty, double-sided adhesive pads for mounting number plates without drilling the plate. They provide an adhesive alternative to screws when the vehicle’s mounting surface is suitable, keeping visible fixings away from the plate face.

Prepare the surface before application
Remove dirt, moisture, wax and old adhesive from the mounting area before applying the pads. Check that the plate will sit against a suitable contact surface, position it carefully, then press firmly. Surface preparation and contact matter: adding more pads does not correct an unsuitable or contaminated mounting area.
Check holders, plinths and existing fixings
Look at the actual bumper or plate holder before choosing adhesive fitting. Avoid assuming that every plastic surface provides the same bond. Our current guidance recommends screw fixing for Mercedes-Benz C-Class models with the factory plastic plinth. If you are unsure about your vehicle, contact us before fitting.
When changing from a Standard plate to Short or Hex, check which areas of the bumper the new outline covers. Old screw holes and adhesive marks can become visible even when the new plate itself fits.
