Shadow number plates use layered laser-cut black acrylic characters to create a 6mm raised profile. A second 4D layer sits above the acrylic base, giving the registration a black-on-black appearance with a visible stepped construction.
The acrylic layers are bonded using 3M adhesive. Their edges catch light as the viewing angle changes, making the layered profile a central part of the finish. The 6mm dimension describes the raised characters rather than the overall plate thickness.
Choose Shadow if you want a layered acrylic design with a solid black appearance. A Standard plate keeps attention on the character depth, while Short and Hex allow you to change the outer proportions as well. The lettering finish can be selected independently for the front and rear.

Start from a matching standard pair at £74.99. Standard shape is included; Short adds £5 per plate and Hex adds £10. A printed black border is £1 per plate. Flags or a green flash are £2 per selected plate on Standard and Short.
Choose a single front, single rear or pair in the plate builder. Keep “Same as front” selected for matching options, or set the lettering, shape, flag and border separately for each side. The same registration appears on both plates.
Paramount Plates makes your physical plates to order. Free Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery is included with plate orders. Production follows identity and registration entitlement checks; see accepted documents. Our 36-month manufacturing warranty applies under its published terms.

To legally produce your number plates we’re required to verify your identity and entitlement to the registration. You can upload both after you order (a phone photo is fine); we’ll show you how.
